The VibraVM™ is new acoustic airway clearance percussors for relieving congestion in horses, including miniatures and foals, cows, calves, goats, sheep, dogs and cats, or any other mammal with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Animals with certain lung conditions accumulate secretions that harbor bacteria, inflammatory cells and mediators resulting in recurring infections, inflammation and destruction of the lung. Natural mechanisms and medications are often inadequate with persistent and recurring airway congestion.

In humans, chest physiotherapy is an important part of the standard of care for the treatment and removal of secretions which in turn, promotes healing. To date, chest physiotherapy has not been adopted in the treatment of respiratory conditions in horses because there was no practical method of delivery, until now!

The VibraVM™ uses sound waves introduced through the nose to breakup accumulations of harmful secretions in the respiratory system for easy expulsion. As a bonus, a certain type of sound produced relaxes constricted airways.

The VibraVM™ is a result of six years of research, development, and testing. We are very pleased for this opportunity to introduce this important and exciting technology for the care of your horse.

This model has auto modes Low, Medium, and High plus Massage mode.

The auto modes have an automatic protocol of seven minutes, each with a pre-programmed range of frequencies, which increase every twenty seconds. A “treatment” is one of the seven minute auto modes followed by two minutes of Massage Mode.

For chronic conditions is takes about a month to clear out the congestion, then the animal can go onto a maintenance schedule. For acute conditions, such as bronchitis or pneumonia, generally 10-14 days of VibraVM™ treatments are required. We have developed protocols for all animals with all the different conditions.

The VibraVM™ has the simplicity of the pre-set seven minute protocols, which as they go through their frequency range will at some time match the frequency of the mucus plugs getting them to vibrate and liquefy. These auto modes along with the Massage mode give optimal treatments.
