Washington, D.C.
I don't know a lot about Cruz. He called one day in July, worried about his dog who had been sick with pneumonia. Cruz had been befriended by a nice lady who has an dance studio and by the local humane society and animal hospital. I found out Cruz, who I'm guessing is in his late teens, lives mostly on the streets with his dog.
When his dog became ill he was able to get treatment at the animal hospital, but the dog wasn't getting over the pneumonia. Then using the lady's computer he searched until he found us and the VibraVM. Then he called and that's when we also became involved. He asked a lot of questions and I knew the VibraVM would help the dog. We sent Cruz a unit and he began treating the dog. In two weeks, the dog was doing fine!
I can't even imagine what life on the street must be like, but I know that this young man is just like any other kid -- he loves his pet and he would do anything he can to get him help. We are glad we could play an important part in his recovery.
